Dr. Alysia Ferguson

Dr. Alysia Ferguson
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Ferguson graduated in 1999 from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a very patient and thorough veterinarian. She has two dogs, Boo and Ginger; and a cat, Tom. Dr. Ferguson says, “I have always wanted to be a veterinarian. I enjoy the challenge of both medicine and surgery. There is no better job in the world for an animal lover.”

 

 

 

Lexington-21Dr. Amy Kizer
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Kizer graduated in 2002 from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to her work at Lexington Pet Clinic, Dr. Kizer is also the staff veterinarian for Sea Life Aquarium in the Mall of America. She is a sought out speaker  in exotic and aquatic animal medicine and is an instructor at the University of Minnesota in non-traditional pets. She resides in Savage with her family which includes three children, an assortment of furred and finned critters, and a very patient husband!

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Herzog graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She has worked with both Dr, Ferguson and Dr. Kizer previously, and is very excited to be joining the LPC team. She has an interest in soft tissue surgery and also does acupuncture. She resides in Mendota Heights with her husband and two sons, a dog named Kermit and a cat named Charlie.

 

 

 

 

Chad StevensChad Stevenson
Practice Manager
Certified Veterinary Technician

Chad graduated from North Dakota State University in 2000 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. He has experience with companion and exotic animal as well as an interest in animal behavior. Chad is also an instructor at Argosy University with the Veterinary Technology program. He lives with a shih tzu named Mila and a spunky kitten named Hosta.

Julie graduated from Argosy University in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has a special interest in exotic animals and wildlife. Julie has owned a wide variety of pets, currently she has 2 cats, Lily and Circles. Julie has experience working with exotic animals, pocket pets and companion animals since 2006.

Jenna graduated from Argosy University in 2012 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She loves working with and continuing to learn about the many different critters that come into the clinic. After work, she enjoys volunteering and fostering for her favorite animal rescue groups. Her true passion is to help educate pet owners to keep their beloved animals happy, healthy, and well-behaved. In her spare time, she relaxes by spending time at home with her family: husband; 2 dogs, Hobbes and Moxie; 2 cats, RC and Mr. Theodore Edgar Francis Tybalt III (Mr. T.); and box turtle, Tortuga.

Certified Veterinary Technician

After completing her clinical training at both the Minnesota Zoo and the Wildlife Rehab Center, Katie graduated from Argosy University with a degree in Veterinary Technology in August 2015. She also holds a zoology degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In the past she has worked at the New England Aquarium in Boston rehabilitating sea turtles, and at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth. Her biggest passions in the veterinary field are exotics and wildlife, and she loves that she gets to learn something new everyday.

 

 

 

Angie MAngie M.
Veterinary Technician

Angie graduated from Argosy University with a Veterinary Technology degree in 2016. She is very passionate for all kinds of animals, though her biggest interest in the veterinary field is exotics and felines. Angie has volunteered at multiple rescues and shelters, such as Ruff Start Rescue, Animal Humane Society, Feline Rescue Inc, and The Wildcat Sanctuary.  In her spare time, she enjoys working at a pet resort & being at home with her furbabies, two dwarf rabbits, Milo & Pepe’ & her cat, Xena.

Emily graduated in 2016 with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University. She loves meeting and learning about new animals. She found her love for aquatics early on in her educational career. While here at LPC, she hopes to gain further experience with both small animals and exotic species.  When she is not spending time at work, Emily enjoys going for bike rides with her Golden Retriever, Duke, and relaxing on her deck with her Maltese, Kiwi.

“I have the best job in the world!” says Laurie, a professional veterinary receptionist with years of experience at three different veterinary facilities in the metro area. She had worked with Chad and Dr. Ferguson previously so when the opportunity became available to work with them again at Lexington Pet Clinic, she jumped at it. “I’m so excited to be a part of this!” she says. “It’s thrilling to work in a clinic that is committed to excellence and that treats everything from dogs and cats to boa constrictors and fish.” Laurie, a devout animal lover, is proudly owned by a cat; Mabel, and a border collie mix, Kiera.

Receptionist

Susannah has always had a love of animals, growing up with dogs, cats, and rabbits. She spent time volunteering at rescues around Southern California. After moving to Minnesota, Susannah got a degree in photography and now spends her free time taking photos, attending Wild hockey games, and getting muddy at the dog park with her dog Gemma, who runs the household!

Groomer

Sandy started her grooming experience in 1995, (and since 2006 in the Eagan area), she realized her passion is still in grooming. Her main concern has always been and still is the well being of your dog. The grooming process allows her to notice aspects of your dog’s skin and coat that may otherwise go unnoticed while also making them look their very best.
